Winston-Salem, NC — As the evolving marketplace is pushing manufacturers to find ways to improve speed to market and reduce costs, 3D imaging provider imagine.io has been well positioned to help them, experiencing an average 525% growth over the past two years.

Launched in 2016 to the home furnishings industry, imagine.io is an easy-to-use 3D content platform that allows companies to create high quality 3D photo-realistic products, indoor and outdoor scenes, videos and virtual showrooms. Its clients include producers and retailers such as Richloom, Nectar, Harbor Classics and Great American Home Store.

“Our phenomenal growth is easy to explain because there is an insatiable appetite for content, and imagine.io meets the demand with tools that companies can use to prototype, sell and market products faster, at lower cost, and more sustainably,” said Preet Singh, founder and CEO. “Our solution is designed to be a self-service and someone with no experience can learn to use quickly, and what’s more, the customer owns the content they create.”

In six years, imagine.io has helped more than 150 leading retailers and manufacturers across multiple categories, from upholstery to case goods, mattresses to lighting, and home accents to flooring. The company estimates cost savings for their clients of up to 70% in creating 3D photorealistic images over studio photography; about 80% savings in studio production time; and conversion rate of nearly 50%.

“In a case study of one of our clients, they reduced physical samples by 42% after starting with imagine.io. Physical prototypes were reduced by 21%. The sales cycle was shortened allowing them to get to market 22% faster than before,” said Singh.

The supply chain challenges that have caused unprecedented delays have also put more pressure on manufacturers to improve speed to market, and imagine.io was positioned to capitalize on the accelerated evolution in the 3D space. As a nimble start-up with a few years under its belt to establish operations and fine-tuning the software, the company is on an aggressive growth trajectory.

For five-store retailer The Great American Home Store, located in Mississippi and Tennessee, company officials reported 67% more clicks and 42% higher sales on products shown as 3D models or in photo-realistic room scenes.

The Winston-Salem, N.C.-based company has raised more than $7.5 million to date, backed by several top U.S. investors including Venture South, Launch, CEAS Investments, Mercato Partners, and Parkwest LLC. Currently, the company has 15 employees in sales, marketing and operations based in North Carolina, a small group of representatives in Canada and Europe, and a team of 65 in India including engineers.

The imagine.io team will be available at the Las Vegas Market for live demonstrations of the platform. Appointments can be made at info@imagine.io.
